Andrew Gordy, PE
Project Engineer
Andrew is a Project Engineer lending engineering technical expertise to the Lorax team. He provides services in an array of disciplines including energy audits, utility rebates, energy reporting, energy modeling, and MEP system design reviews. Andrew also supports the wider Lorax team in sustainability ratings systems documentation, and he serves as a liaison to MEP firms across project teams.
Andrew earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland. Prior to joining Lorax, Andrew was a Mechanical Engineer at a Baltimore area MEP engineering firm.
Andrew enjoys working with project teams to find creative solutions that integrate efficient, sustainable MEP systems into buildings. With his background in MEP engineering, he is always thinking with a cost-conscious mind. His passion for energy and water conservation is his proud contribution to the wider sustainability movement.
Originally from the hills of East Tennessee, Andrew and family settled in Baltimore County in 2017. When he isn’t working, you can find Andrew hiking and backpacking around the mid-Atlantic, playing bass guitar, or simply taking it easy with his family.
