Senior Director of ESG

Pete is the Senior Director of ESG at Lorax. With more than 20 years of experience in real estate, Pete brings a unique perspective to Lorax and our clients from the fields of design, private equity, construction, development, property & asset management.

Prior to joining Lorax, Pete has spent the last 10+ years building ESG programs in multifamily and mixed-used asset management, operations, and development. Most recently he was Senior Director, ESG for LivCor (a Blackstone portfolio company).

In that role he was responsible for strategy development, implementation, and communication & reporting of the company’s ESG program. This included guidance on a wide variety of property-specific to portfolio-wide efforts, including transportation, water and energy reduction programs, health and wellness, and resident-focused amenities, engagement, and education. Before that role he was VP, Sustainability at Bozzuto Management Company.

He received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the College of Design at North Carolina State University and later an MBA in Real Estate and Urban Development from the George Washington University. He is happiest listening to music or playing in his band, and being in the great outdoors as much as humanly possible. Pete lives with his wife and daughter in Severna Park, MD.
