Rebecca Gullott

Senior Project Manager
Rebecca is a Senior Project Manager coordinating a diverse portfolio of projects including project certifications under a variety of rating systems for buildings and sites. She also focuses on sustainability planning for businesses and communities. Rebecca is leading Lorax in the development of a program of services to assist businesses in environmental, social and governance (ESG) assessment and planning. She was a project consultant on the Bowie Sustainability Plan and leads the Sustainability Plan project for the Maryland Zoo.
Rebecca enjoys working with design teams to integrate sustainable strategies into building projects and encouraging owners to adopt environmentally responsible operational practices. She is proud to have managed the LEED Platinum Certification of the Sultana Education Foundation’s ULI Wavemaker Award-winning Holt Center and contributed to the Platinum certifications of the Graceland/O’Donnell and Holabird NZE schools in Baltimore City.
Rebecca earned her Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of London and Bachelor of Science in Biology from Providence College. Before joining Lorax, Rebecca was a Senior Project Manager at Doo Consulting, and prior to her time at Doo Consulting, she was the Program Manager of the nonprofit Baltimore Green Works. Rebecca spent eight years with the Maryland Zoo, most recently as the mammal curator and conservation and research coordinator.
Originally from upstate New York, Rebecca made Baltimore her home in 2002. She is happiest in good company, whether traveling, hiking with her dog, dancing to live music with friends, or surfing in the sunshine.
