This role will primarily focus on proposal writing, development of statements of qualifications, and managing collateral. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communications skills, be organized, have a proactive deadline mindset, and be a self-starter with a keen eye for detail. The Marketing Coordinator will be given the training, resources, and mentorship needed to succeed in their role, but a basic understanding of A/E/C marketing and proposal processes is recommended and will accelerate the learning curve and allow tasks to be tackled quickly.

      • Populating Deltek Vantagepoint – data gathering and input.
    • Ensure and vigilantly enforce brand consistency.
  • Other marketing responsibilities will be performed on an as-requested basis and will grow as you grow at Lorax. These activities may include:
    • Webinar and live event production
    • Trade show coordination
    • Website and social media updates
  • Marketing is a broad and ever-changing discipline. Applicants should assume that other responsibilities will be requested as skills and confidence grow, and trust is built.

  • Demonstrated excellent graphic design, writing, and proofreading skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills. Clear written and interpersonal communication and strong listening skills are needed.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, time management, and project management skills.

  • Detail oriented – emphasis on efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of database concepts.
  • The ability to take direction and work both in a team and independently while prioritizing tasks associated with simultaneous deadlines.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Graphic Design, Communications, or Marketing is a plus, but not required), or a combination of education and experience.
