St. John Distribution Center

Located in Sparrows Point in Baltimore, the St. Johns Distribution Center will serve as Under Armor’s new distribution warehouse that will be the company’s national hub to fulfill online orders. The site, which was previously used by Bethlehem Steel for over a century, is owned by development company Tradepoint Atlantic.

A local company, Under Armor chose this site to not only be close to it’s original headquarters in Port Covington, but to bring resurgence back to the Baltimore community. Offering 1,000 jobs, the new facility will enable the company to keep up with its continued growth in e-commerce. The facility will include warehouse and administration spaces, as well as additional employee services such as a full-scale gym and cafeteria. Under Armor also recognized the need for public transportation access. Working with the Maryland Department of Transportation, it established a new bus stop at the facility that connects to an already existing line, and has included a shuttle service to take employees to other bus stops not within walking distance.
